Entries are limited to Nuri-e pictures published in the "Nuri-e" Series (Kawade Shobo Shinsha). You can take your pick from the wide range of Nuri-e subjects.

Any group consisting of two or more entrants (for example, family or friends) can make a group entry. (Each individual in a group must complete only one piece of their own work. A single work completed by more than one individual will not be accepted.)
Awarded groups will be presented with a selection of deluxe prizes!

| Awards & Prizes |
From among the selected works, one work will be chosen to receive a category award. Each category award winner will be presented with a selection of deluxe prizes, and selected entrants will be awarded commemorative goods.
An entrant can only win in one award. *However, an entrant can win in both the 【Individual Entry】 and 【Group Entry】.

- Kapow! Impact Award, Artist in the Making Award, Original & Tasteful Award, Nuri-e of biginers Award, Pastel Crayon Award, Craft Award, Platinum Award (entrants: 90 years+), Clover Award (entrants with a challenging illness or disability), Maestro Award, Characters Award, Wonderful Postcard Award, and other awards

- Vivid & Vibrant Award, Good Friends Award, Family Award, and other awards

- The awarded work will be framed; an assortment of wonderful Nuri-e supplies; a tote bag printed with your work.

| Announcement & Exhibitions |
To be announced in the Yomiuri Shimbun newspaper and on this website in February 2022. *The results will be notified by post.
The selected pieces will be exhibited in the following venues.
- Osaka exhibition
- March 19th - 27th, 2022 Nishinomiya City Kitaguchi Gallery
- Tokyo exhibition
- April 2nd - April 10th, 2022 Bunkamura Gallery in Shibuya

| Selection Criteria |
How much an entrant has enjoyed Nuri-e; this is taken into consideration.

| Art Materials |
You can use any single or combination of art materials for your entry. If craft-type materials other than colored pencils are used, e.g. embroidery or pressed flowers, the thickness of a piece of work must be within 10 cm.

To enter the contest, you need an entry form.

Please fill out the entry form (copies are accepted).

On the reverse side of each entry, securely attach the above-mentioned entry form using cellophane adhesive tape (one form per work). Post your entry in a sealed envelope; do not bend or fold your work.
Your comments about your work will also be referred to during selection. If you are coping with disability or an illness, or undergoing rehabilitation, please describe your situation.
*For a postcard size work, do not tape the entry form onto it. Please put the work(s) and any separate entry form(s) into a sealed envelope.

- ・Please note that the Nuri-e Club is not responsible for loss or any damage, etc., which may occur when receiving or returning your work by post.
- ・The copyright (including the rights stipulated in Articles 27 and 28 of the Copyright Act of Japan) on the awarded works belongs to the Nuri-e Club. Thank you for your understanding.
